Fun O'Malley Factoid

December 2003 and Howard Dean is all the rage. Baltimore Mayor Martin O’Malley courageously picks this moment to endorse Howard Dean.

The presumptive front-runner finishes 3rd in Iowa.

May 2007 and Hillary Clinton is all the rage. Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley courageously picks this moment to endorse Hillary Clinton.

The presumptive front-runner finishes 3rd in Iowa.

Comments:
I had not "endorsed" anyone but for my money, but I prefer the genuine Democratic article over the naugahyde zirconium version. I feel the same way about Republicans: give me a strong conservative with whom I have many serious philosophical disagreements over those who are neither hot nor cold.

I did not like Tancredo or Brownback at all but my respect for them exceeds by a wide margin my respect for Romney, who is on many issues more plastic in character than Joan Rivers' face. I can even respect Kucinich a lot on such grounds (after I overcome my unfortunate ethnic prejudices against Elf-Americans.)
